The Bramwell Brown Blog
A new home for Bramwell Brown
As of tomorrow, Sunday 18th September we will be opening our doors in the OXO Tower Wharf (Unit 1.18 to be precise) the location of the first EVER Bramwell Brown shop!
Since we got the keys in early August, we’ve been extremely busy planning the shop layout; trying to figure out how to create retail space whilst retaining a work space/design studio for myself and Sarah.
For those of you not familiar with OXO Tower Wharf, you may have in fact seen or at least been aware of its now iconic tower situated on London’s South Bank. With spectacular river views and a fascinating mix of design, art and food – it really is a fantastic destination.
We feel very honoured to be part of a building which is home to some of the UK’s most innovative and internationally renowned modern design boutiques and studios, offering the best in contemporary art, jewellery, fashion, lighting and homewares and we are so excited about becoming part of this community. Watch this space for lots of news of forthcoming events and activities we will be taking part in.
We are also delighted to be involved with this year’s London Design Festival (17th – 25th September) part of Bankside Design District. To celebrate we will be launching our new ‘London’ Weather Clock, designed by illustrator Josh Patterson, which will be on display all week. We will also be officially launching the London clock with an evening of drinks and fun clock/barometer themed craft from 6.30pm – 9pm on Wednesday 21st September in our lovely new shop.
If you are in London, please do come and join us, we’d absolutely love to meet you!
