The Bramwell Brown Blog
Meet the Customer and their Weather Clock (#2)
This week we are meeting Georgie @georgie_sewell
Can you tell us about yourself?
I'm British but currently live in Seattle with my husband, two boys and our recently adopted dog, Pineapple.
How did you discover Bramwell Brown?
I saw them on Instagram and I scrolled back up to have a better look! They're beautiful to look at but then realising that they're an interactive piece of art as well as a functional object hooked me. Being handmade in the UK was the icing on the cake.
What's your favourite room in the house and why?
That’s a work in progress as we haven’t lived in our house for long (we just moved back to Seattle a year ago from the UK) so we’re in the middle of a renovation. I’d say it’s probably the open plan kitchen / living room, because it’s where we spend most of our time as a family and there’s space for everyone to do what they’re doing. More recently though, I’d take a quiet cupboard with a lock on the door 😊
Where do you hang your Bramwell Brown Weather Clock and why?
It’s in the kitchen / living room so that we can see it change during the day. I see it when I’m making my first coffee of the day and then whenever we hear it whirring (now part of the background noises that make our house a home) we have a look to see what’s going on with the weather. Seattle is pretty similar to the UK in that it’s usually about to rain!
Can you sum your Bramwell Brown Weather Clock up in three words?
Beautiful, comforting, unique.
Thank you to Georgie for speaking with us.
