Weather Clock

Bramwell Brown Weather Clock

The clock that started it all! This is Bramwell Brown’s original weather clock, including the classic design of bright, beautiful weather shining through the clock’s window. Rob and Sarah’s premiere creation that kicked off Bramwell Brown is available and ready to decorate your walls with charm. This practical clock will keep you on time and appropriately-dressed for whatever weather comes your way.

Featuring the classic forecasting terms, this clock is a wonderful refresh of barometers from yesteryear. The scenes whir into place, showing you what your day holds. The stunning colours of nature come alive on this Weather Clock. Watch swallows soar the sky and feel the warmth of the sun on your skin. It might be time to pull out an umbrella or head back inside when the fat raindrops start pelting down, and as the omnious dark clouds slide out, you’ll want to seek shelter quickly.

Benjamin Craven x Bramwell Brown

This weather clock is a joint effort that shows off Benjamin Craven’s art and is a great sample of his style. The bold colour choices are easy to see from a distance and offer a bright spot of colour during dark days. The minimal face of the clock makes for quick time-telling at a glance while not distracting from the meteorological phenomenon below. Though the clock itself is a striking statement, it lends itself to any decor and livens up a room with a fanciful mechanimated face.

Underneath the face lies the intricate engineering that brings the whole piece to life, including a barometer that measures atmospheric pressure in order to forecast the weather for you. The clock is 33 cm in diameter, so it’s a fairly large clock that you can display proudly in your home. Your clock is made-to-order so any personalisations that you’d like to add can be done while our assemblers breathe life into your clock.

Artist Craven’s work spins around into place as the weather changes (or at your whim, with a button press!) to show a dark vision of a stormy night complete with somber clouds and bright, blinding bolts of lighting streak the sky; to oddly satisfying and symmetrical raindrops dotting the sky against a warningly pink sky. You’ll wait for the moment when the sun finally peeks out to heat up the concrete of a nearby building, a small detail showing the power of the sun as you gaze at the clock.

Into the Wild Weather Clock

Into the Wild Weather Clock

For those who love the outdoors and daydream of camping, this weather clock is a choice pick. Artist Josh Patterson returned to collaborate on this clock, bringing his signature artistic style and vision that completes the look of this clock. The darker colouration of scenes evokes the wildness and unknown of backwoods camping. Definitely not for the faint of heart or those inexperienced in traversing the backcountry, this clock plays up those themes of beautiful but untamed nature.

Place this clock in your living room, kitchen or hallway and with its easily readable face you’ll find that it lends to all decor without outshining any one piece. It uses regular batteries that are installed with the clock, but are replaceable when they die. This weather clock keeps reliable time with a silent quartz mechanism so your clock runs whisper-quiet.

Backcountry camping comes with a host of benefits and challenges to add to your adventure. Get safe in your tent before the torrential rains start and take a book or puzzle to pass the time as you listen to the sound of raindrops on the taut nylon of your tent. Watch the sun peek out through the clouds and paint the landscape gold as the tall pines are illuminated alongside the mountain’s face. Hike up the trail or paddle down the river and explore the land, escaping away from regular life with a soulful journey, and take in the wildlife around you, like howling wolves, jumping salmon and resting birds

Traditional Weather Clock

Traditional Weather Clock

This classic weather clock features artwork that draws its foundations from rail posters of the 1920s, so if you love vintage aesthetic, this is likely a clock that will catch your eye. The blue colour scheme brings these weather scenes to life in order to help you prepare for your day. Collaborator and artist Peter McDermott has a style that complements the clock, and brings an air of summer holidays and long train trips.

The clock, measuring 33 cm in diameter, will fill a room with lighthearted playfulness and ease into any decor. This showstopping piece will grab the attention of anyone nearby, especially as the skies change and the artboard zips around to update its forecast. Bramwell Brown and McDermott aim to evoke the ancestral feel of looking to the sky to forecast the weather with his signature flat graphic style augmented by inspirations of old railway posters and Japanese artist Hokusai’s influences.

Look forward to bright blue skies to plan your day trip, with the sun shining brightly and seagulls roaming the sky in search of tasty morsels. However, watch out for the puffy clouds that might cast a damper on your day, and pack an umbrella for the dark skies that are streaked with lightning--though it might be better to stay inside and go out on an adventure another day. Cycling Weather Clock

Cycling Weather Clock

This Bramwell Brown clock is a collaboration done with Michael Mantel, who paints the highs and lows of cycling with joyful characters that could fit right into a children’s book. Bringing fun and joy to your walls, the Cycling Weather Clock is a great gift idea for any avid cycler who knows the thrill of zipping around in nice weather and the pain of pushing through pounding rainfall. It’ll be a useful addition to their decor to tell whether or not today is going to be good riding weather.

The simple face of this clock, like the rest of Bramwell Brown’s line, is very readable, even from a distance and the window display for the moving weather scenes doesn’t detract from your ability to quickly tell the time or even the weather, based on the happy (or sodden) faces of the cyclists’. The clock also includes a textual description so you can be sure when you’re headed for a night out, you’ll be facing rain and not a complete storm.

There’s a simple charm to bicycling, and it’s captured well in this clock. You can watch the kids race home in the gloomy weather after school hoping to beat the rain, or a competitive cyclist pushing through the downpour with his coach’s endorsement. Mantel well represents the emotions that a cyclist goes through when the drizzle starts and it’s time to pull out the umbrella. However, in the weather’s cycle, the sun will always appear again and the sight of a playground with bikes thrown to the ground nearby and an ice cream truck means that the weather is going to be just perfect.

More about the clocks

All of Bramwell Brown’s clocks can be further personalised with a custom message on the face of the clock, where a commemoration or celebration can be imprinted just above the weather window. If you’re wanting to personalise the clock but in a less obvious way, opt for a plaque at the back, which gives you the opportunity for a secret, heartfelt message to your recipient.

Looking to have it match your decor? You can pick out the colour of the frame with a RAL colour chart that our powder-coaters will use to design your clock with a silky smooth finish. Your choices are almost endless, so use a colour swatch from your room and match it to the RAL chart for a seamless addition to your decor.

A few things to remember about the care for your Weather Clock: keep it away from direct heat as it’ll affect the clock’s functioning and it won’t be a reliable forecaster. You'll want to hang the clock away from radiators and stoves. If you're at a higher altitude than our workshop in Hampshire, you’ll want to let us know so that we can adjust its barometer as it’ll forecast worse weather than can be expected due to the air pressure difference.

Finally, even with all of the love that we put into assembling a clock, if you find that it’s not for you or you’ve changed your mind about the specific clock you bought, you can return or exchange the clock within 60 days of delivery. Keep in mind that a clock like this will last a lifetime (or more, with some care), so if you’re looking to have an heirloom-quality forecasting Weather Clock, Bramwell Brown has you covered, even when it needs service.
